YOUR GIFT HAS GREAT IMPACT
Women in third world and developing countries, are more likely to suffer under the burden of poverty. Abana works with rural women in Kenya and Uganda to enable micro enterprise development. This includes widows, teen school drop outs, FGM survivors, recovered addicts and petty offender reintegration.
The Greenpreneurs Agenda is a new youth-led economic empowerment initiative for climate resistant businesses to be launched in October 2024. Abana has been working with youth in select areas of US and East Africa, to enable re-skilling and training of youth, including those who are vulnerable, rehabilitated, and recovering addicts. This year, the focus is on expanding the creative economy.
